I think this week's reflection was on what we don't like about the current project. Well, we can start with I'm really bad at using these fancy programs and the line art you made us use is terrible (well mine is, I mean I could've tried harder but you know TREES). So this is one of the things I did over the summer. I really like the way Junko's (the boobs on the right) eye turned out. But the art style looks too Soul Eater-ish whoops. The gun didn't come out too good in the end, but I'm pretty proud of the hands. I don't like hands. I wish they would just draw themselves.

I know that these theme days are going to get worse from here on out so might as well have fun with it. So these are Komaeda Nagito's shoes from Super Dangan Ronpa 2. I'm pretty sure the character designers looked at their rough sketches and went "hmm, something's missing ah yes zippers." Lots of unnecessary zippers. I mean who needs sippers on both sides of their shoe jfc he has heels too and Komaeda is pretty damn tall. I actually spent too much money on these shoes I regret nothing.

Wednesday: Critique Me

So far this is my only piece to date that's been done almost entirely in copic. Look at his hair. It's so wavy and colorful and yellow. It's so freaking yellow. But the greys look off. Like really off. I wasn't too good with blacks at that time. Actually, I'm still not that good at blacks. It also needs a background (how much can Claus draw that he forgets to put a background on it and/or color it). Useless fact: the hair was actually colored with skin tones and then highlighted with a yellow crayloa marker. Also, Len's mouth was originally closed until the art succubus found it and changed it.

yo my name is Claus and I'm taking digital illustration and design this year. I want to work in the manga industry somewhere in the future. Therefore, I don't plan on attending college to travel overseas after I graduate. It should go without saying that I like the many different manga styles and draw primarily in that style.
